Thomson Distillers Selection Single Cask
A limited edition bottling handcrafted at the Thomson Whisky distillery. 100% NZ malted barley, smoked with native Manuka wood, and ex-bourbon barrel maturation.
Aromas of sweet cut grass, straw, and Manuka oils. On the palate there is fresh greenery, soft sweet mid-palate with mild smoke on the finish.
New Zealand Whisky Company Oamaruvian 16 year old
Aged for six years in American Oak, ex-bourbon, and finished for twelve years in French Oak, ex-red wine barrels. Bottled at cask strength.
The aroma is a bold port-soaked raisins followed by dark cherries, cloves and various stone fruits. Water and time brings out pecan praline, almonds and balsamic reduction glaze. A vibrant taste of dried fruits, including dried cherries and strawberries, intertwined with almonds and nutmeg leading to a palate covering liquorice sweetness spiked with anise. On the finish there is a slightly drying and energetic see-saw between the spice and sweetness experienced. Somewhat acidic on the tongue, but it carries a very pleasant balance along the drawn out port-like finale.
New Zealand Whiskey Co Doublewood 15 year old
A Master Blend of 70% single malt, and 30% premium grain whisky produced from unmalted barley in the Willowbank Distillery. Aged for 6 years in American Bourbon barrels, before finishing for 7 in French Oak NZ wine barrels, giving ruby colour, depth of character and long-lasting, rich flavours.
The aroma has complex sweetness with layers of aromatic dried fruit and spices. There is a rich full natural sweetness on the palate with pleasant fruit and spicy flavours. Satisfyingly warm with lingering toffee on the finish.
NZ SOUTH 23 year Old Whiskey
Made from 100% malted New Zealand barley in the Willowbank distillery, Dunedin. This whisky has been aging in American Oak, Ex-Bourbon barrels for 25 years.
The aroma has a subtle smoke, yellow fruit and drying Grass. A sweet malt, golden fruits and vanilla taste with a light peat influence. Light and Silky finish with Delicate Oak and Sweetness.
Thomson French Oak & Smoke
A limited edition bottling handcrafted at the Thomson Whisky distillery. 100% NZ malted barley, smoked with South island peat, and matured in a local Pinot Noir cask.
Aromas of candied prunes and vanilla with rich Peat smoke. Jammy stone fruit flavour, developing into blood orange and barley sugars with a smoke enveloping the finish.
New Zealand Whiskey Company 25 year old Single Malt
Made from 100% malted New Zealand Barely in the Willowbank distillery, Dunedin. This whisky has been aging in American Oak, Ex-Bourbon barrels for 25 years, making it the first Single Malt Whisky outside of Europe and Japan to be matured and releases as a 25 year old.
A mature nose with subtle campfire smoke and dried fruit. A sweet malt on the palate, delicate fruit with light vanilla. A silky and ligjht finish with delicate salty sweetness.
